5.1 Limitations and Further Research

We conclude our work with limitations and suggestions for the direction of future research. The first limitation of this work is the statistical significance of the constant in the regression model. This means that there are important factors that are not included in the models. Moreover, we can further investigate the phenomena within the use of other methodologies and investigate some performance variables. It can also be useful to analyze this issue in other European countries. Furthermore, it could be interesting to analyze the situation of the companies before and after the funding year.
